pre-medical professions
Pre-Medical Professions is a fast-paced class where junior students will take a dual credit Medical Terminology course through Stark State College, learn how to assess a patient, and be exposed to a variety of medical careers. In the senior year, students will take a pharmacology course and test to earn their STNA certification. STNA training requires clinical hours to be completed at clinical sites throughout the community. These clinical sites may require certain additional vaccinations and testing.
Students should consider Pre-Medical Professions if they are interested in the following careers:
Nursing
Physician
Respiratory Therapist
Pharmacy Tech or Pharmacist
STNA
Medical Coding
Medical Assisting
