Alumni who have taken this program go on to film school, business school, liberal arts colleges, or even start their own businesses where they can use the communication and marketing skills they learned in high school to help communicate their message.

Students sample the many jobs in the media industry so that they can discover their strengths and interests while in high school.

Articulated college credit may be available upon program completion.

A partnership with the local Public Access cable TV station, Spectrum Cable Channel 1022: Alliance, allows students the opportunity to have their work air on TV and learn about the concepts of deadlines and workflow in a professional studio. Students also have the opportunity for paid work-based learning through the channel.

Video Productions also holds a partnership with Local Broadcast Network, who hosts the program's livestreams and provides professional experiences and assistance, as well as networking with achieved industry professionals.
