Students in this class follow a prescribed curriculum provided by NCCER’s which covers topics such as Oxyfuel Cutting, Welding Symbols, and Stainless Steel Groove Welds. NCCER’s curriculum also correlates to the AWS SENSE (Schools Excelling through National Skills Education) standards and guidelines for an Entry Welder.
Additionally, students will learn safety skills, drawings, and welding processes which may include Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Flux-Cored Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding.
